JiyongKim

Founded in Seoul in 2020, JiyongKim explores the beauty of imperfection through time, sunlight, and material transformation. Inspired by vintage workwear and military garments, designer Jiyong Kim developed the brand’s signature sun-bleaching technique, naturally exposing fabrics to sunlight to create unpredictable fading and unique patterns.

A graduate of Bunka Fashion College and Central Saint Martins, Kim gained experience at Lemaire, Louis Vuitton, and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro. Named an LVMH Prize finalist in 2024 and Guest Designer at Pitti Uomo 110, JIYONGKIM transforms fading, irregularity, and traces of time into a distinctive design language where imperfection becomes something worth preserving.
