THUG CLUB “BIO SOLDIER II” Pop-Up Crosses Taiwan with TOBIRA STORE

A three-city invasion of future streetwear — from Taipei to Kaohsiung, the battlefield of THUG CLUB unfolded across Taiwan.

From March 28, 2025, TOBIRA STORE launched a multi-city pop-up event for THUG CLUB’s 2025 SS collection “BIO SOLDIER II,” curated in collaboration with select retailers across Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. The activation invited supporters into a fragmented near-future — a hybrid of urban survival and alien contact — embodied in the collection’s full release.

“BIO SOLDIER II” continued THUG CLUB’s exploration of luxurious streetwear through a dystopian lens. Camouflage-heavy, the pieces featured exaggerated silhouettes, structural experimentation, and deep material treatments like stone washing, hand distressing, and layered dyeing. Key styles included military-length coats, hybrid jackets, modular trousers, and multi-tiered tops — each carrying narrative weight and high-impact visual identity.

To accompany the launch, TOBIRA STORE also debuted a visual editorial titled “Close Encounters Of The Six Kind”, a cinematic extension of the collection’s thematic core. The imagery magnified texture, shadow, and decay, casting each garment in the ruins of a speculative future — somewhere between the battlefield and the outer atmosphere.
