“SACRIFICE” Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1960. Graduated from Tama Art University. Active as an art director in the advertising and publishing industries from the 1980s, and began working as a painter from the 1990s onward. Published the art collection Cave in 2009. Major solo exhibitions include Hollow Organ (Curator’s Cube, 2017), A New Career In A New Town (Parcel, Tokyo, 2019), and Black Plants (Gallery Trax, Yamanashi, 2023). Works under the name Junichi Kakuta when active as a designer.
