After taking a break due to various reasons, loosejoints made its comeback thanks to a single comment from Daisuke Yokoyama, the mind behind Sasquatchfabrix., during a casual hangout in November 2018. That moment sparked the revival, and by January 2019, loosejoints was scrambling to prepare for the Murahachibu Showroom exhibition in Paris.
Amid a whirlwind schedule, we were constantly energized and encouraged by the electrifying artworks sent to us by cultural heroes—we still vividly remember that feeling of inspiration.
The phrase "Keep This Party Going!!!" has been our rallying cry since the revival. It embodies our desire to continue connecting cultures—gently, yet surely. Keep This Party Going!!!
DAISUKE YOKOYAMA
Born in Niigata in 1977. In 2003, he founded the design unit Wonder Worker Guerrilla Band and launched Sasquatchfabrix.. Since 2013, he has exhibited regularly in Paris. He continues to push creative boundaries through avant-garde collaborations, including with Supreme and the Kokonoe Sumo Stable.
