STRAIGHT is a label led by editor Shogo Kawabata and graphic designer Hideaki Komiyama (TGB design.), known for its unique series of illustrated plant encyclopedias. Inspired by the “Cabinets of Curiosities” that Europeans created during the Age of Exploration by collecting rare and exotic items from around the world, STRAIGHT aims to revive this spirit by producing books and spaces that awaken various curiosities.
